- Creating ties between ABYS and the Acton-Boxborough High School
Soccer Programs:

Match a High School buddy(ies) with an ABYS
team - attend practice(s) and/or game(s). |

HS coaches want full participation but cannot
dictate this - no guarantee - schedules are tough. |
|
Buddies are there as an "idol"
not to coach - can possibly demonstrate but wouldn't count on
it. |
How the Buddy Program Works - Process

If interested, send Charlotte (Girls) or Chris
(Boys) an email w/your
name, age, practice nights, location & email address. |

Charlotte will coordinate with girls HS Coach
for buddy(ies) assignments and provide buddy information to
ABYS Coaches |

First come/First serve |
|
For the Boys coaches, Chris will coordinate with
boys HS Coach
for buddy(ies) assignments and provide buddy information to
ABYS Coaches |
|
Once assignment done, coaches and buddies
coordinate directly - Charlotte & Chris are not
brokers. |
ABYS Night - A night to be determined for ABYS
to go to a Varsity Game & be a part of it.

All ABYS teams participate - buddy teams (a
little something extra) - date TBD. |
Charlotte met with 2 college coaches recently
& the coaches couldn't stress enough that as a youth growing
up there is far too much focus placed on the results and not the
process. It's not about the win - it's about playing soccer!
