Micro Soccer Program– Fall 2010
ABYS is pleased to offer an exciting new program for
pre-kindergarten aged players (U5). Micro soccer is a
developmentally appropriate soccer program, designed by
professional coaches and aimed at developing motor skills,
movement, agility and soccer skills. The format will be very
similar to the established Kinders program already established
at ABYS.
Micro soccer consists of six x 50 minute sessions as scheduled
below. Our Player Development Officer (PDO) will introduce new
coaches and young players to the fundamentals of soccer. This
program includes child-centered and age-appropriate interactive
games that maximize everyone's touches on the ball and makes
learning soccer skills FUN, and introduces 3 v 3 fun scrimmages.
Micro soccer players will be assigned coaches, and the
youngsters will meet their coach and will receive a Team
T-shirt at their first session.
